Read Luke 4:1-13 and 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 and Phillippians 4:8

• Describe a situation when you had to choose between doing something good and doing something sinful.
• What are three tough sins that you believe many people struggle with?
• Describe a time when sin almost got the best of you, but God helped you turn the situation around. How did you deal with it?
• Why do you think Jesus kept repeating Scriptures to satan every time He was tempted?
• How would you handle satan if he came to you and offered money, fame, and power to worship him? Would you know enough Scripture to chase satan away?
• How would you explain 1 Corinthians 10:13 to someone, especially the part, "He will not let you tempted beyond what you can bear?"
• List some situations that we need to avoid -- situations that, as Luke 4:13 states, satan might consider an "opportune time".
