First off, let me say, oh what fun yesterday was!
Also, if you are an 8th grader entering high school in August 2010, then ALL Life Teen activities/events/trips this summer are open to you. Where space is available of course!
We didn't get the Summer Life Line (May, June, July event newsletter) out to you yesterday, so one will be mailed home. Along with a Steubenville Atlanta packet.
Steubenville Atlanta is July 16-18th, 2010. It is a weekend conference/retreat that is hosted by Life Teen and Franciscan University of Steubenville.
There are 18 spaces available to Life Teen teens. 9 girls and 9 boys. Cristina, Amber, Steve, John, and Deepa are chaperoning. The girls will be staying at a hotel and the boys will be housed in a nearby apartment. The cost for Steubenville Atlanta is $230. It covers the cost of the conference, lodging, meals/snacks, transportation, conference t-shirt, etc. Payment plans, of course, are available.
Steubenville Atlanta is held at the Gwinnett Conference Center in Duluth, GA with off-site housing provided by the church you attend with.
$80 deposit is due by Sunday, May 16th. $150 balance is due Sunday, June 6th. You may turn it in to Deepa, Cassie, or the Religious Education office. Don't miss out on this AWE-some summer opportunity.
