Why do I have to complete service project hours?
It isn't true service until there's nothing in it for you -- no personal benefit, only pure sacrifice. Doing what you have to do when you can't give yourself a single reason, except that someone needs it.
Another reason behind doing service project hours within the St Thomas
I believe as long as your teen, or any Confirmation candidate, is building parish community and completing hours not for personal benefit but to serve others, I will approve service projects.
St Thomas the Apostle Service Project Hours coming up. (some of the following are in addition to those found in your Apostles or Disciples program booklet.) You are responsible for filling out the Gift Program form (Apostles or Disciples) and turning it in to Deepa. As well as, contacting whomever is responsible for the service opportunity and signing up.
