Text Message from Cassie on Monday, July 11, 2011: Teens are having a great time. It was hot today and humidity is worse, but it poured today right after we finished a project. So it cooled things down.
We climbed the most active volcano in Nicaragua.
We dug out trenches and laid pipe down so that a family could have running water at their house today.
And we lost 9 bags, not 7. We got the 1st aid bag back today; lost only one personal bag which had our toothpaste and bug spray, but its been fine. The rest of the missing bags are donation bags.
Marist high school is here with us.
Oh, and we went and walked around in the city dump today where 300 families are still living.
