Disciples 2010-2011

The Disciples 2010-2011 Parent/Teen meeting was Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 7-9 pm in the Social Hall.
Only 17 out the 75+ teens eligible for Disciples Confirmation attended.

Registration forms and Disciples Program packets may be picked up the Religious Education office Mon-Thurs, 10am-4pm now until Friday, July 30th. Registration for Disciples 2010-2011 ends Friday, July 30th. If you have not registered your high school teen for Disciples 2010-2011 by Friday, July 30th, they will have to wait until May 2011 to begin their Disciples year. No exceptions.

If your teen has not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation, there are additional classes designed to prepare them for this sacrament. Preparation is a two year program. The first year of Confirmation preparation is Disciples, and the second year is Apostles. The teen’s Confirmation preparation includes attendance at the AD Life Nights (Life Teen), Confirmation classes, Service Project Hours and the Confirmation retreat. Disciples Classes are offered on Tuesday (7:00-9:00pm). Apostles Classes are offered on two tracks – Sunday (2:00-4:00pm) OR Tuesday (7:00-9:00pm). Registration will be completed on a first-come first-serve basis and will end on Friday, July 30, 2010.

If your teen has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and will be a senior in the Fall of 2010, they will need to contact Michael Okuto, our Adult Faith Formation director, to sign up for the Adult Confirmation classes.
